Privacy notice

This notice explains how WireHop handles personal and operational data when providing secure network-access management.

Information we process

We process account identity and authentication data, organization memberships, session and MFA state, and the network configuration, access events, and audit records needed to operate the service.

Why we process it

This information is used to authenticate users, provision and secure private-network access, investigate security events, meet operational obligations, and improve service reliability. Where GDPR applies, processing is necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, or pursue legitimate security interests.

Cookies and local storage

WireHop uses essential authentication cookies and limited local storage required to keep an account session secure and remember the privacy-notice dismissal. It does not use advertising or analytics cookies, so there are no optional tracking cookies to consent to.

WireHop AI

When your organization enables WireHop AI and you choose to use it, your messages and the operational information needed to answer them are sent to the AI provider configured by the organization or WireHop. Do not submit private keys, API keys, passwords, or other secrets to the assistant. Organization Owners may configure their own provider, model, endpoint, and encrypted API key. Chat history is retained in your browser session only; WireHop still records confirmed administrative actions in its security audit trail.

Retention and rights

Information is retained for as long as needed to operate the account, organization, and security controls, subject to applicable legal obligations. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability through the organization or service provider that created your account. You may also have the right to object to certain processing or lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
